Ace Hotel
The Ace Hotel in Sydney pays loving homage to all things Australian. Inspired by the famous Robin Boyd, the paintings of Indigenous Australian artist Albert Namatjira, and the historic context of the building site.
Located on Wentworth Ave and standing proud at 18 stories, the Ace Hotel Sydney features a lobby bar, ground floor restaurant and laneway cafe. The hotel’s 264 guest rooms have been designed to feel cosy and residential with custom lighting; furniture and fixtures throughout.
Furniture by Design worked with the hotel’s lead interior design partner, Flack Studio and Marques Interior Services to develop the design concepts for the built in seating, and assist in the curation of the bespoke furniture solution for the project. 100% Australian designed and manufactured all of Furniture by Design’s products are manufactured from a holistic and sustainable perspective — each piece reconciles ecological and social impacts within the current economic climate. Built on the belief of traditional craft combined with innovative technology, Furniture by Design’s focus is on delivering a range that is thoughtfully crafted with minimum waste.
